Drawing inspiration from Tim Burton's films, it was filled with creativity and continually expanded the mythology of the Dark Knight through a gallery of characters who would go on to become iconic.

The Birth of Harley Quinn

Among them was an eccentric young woman dressed in a harlequin costume. When she first appeared in episode 22, very little was known about her, aside from her obsessive attachment to the Joker.

It was not until episode 72 and the comic book “Mad Love” that the origins of psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel were revealed: a woman who fell in love with one of her own patients — a man with white skin and green hair — before becoming Harley Quinn.

Capturing Her Unique Personality
